I have two OAK-1-POE cameras that i'm trying to connect over a 802.3af standard POE unmanaged switch. However i'm having major difficulty.
the cameras work completely fine on a managed POE switch. However on an unmanaged I cannot get even one to work. Initially one camera connected when running on windows however after flashing both cameras to a specific ip and subnet mask neither will now connect on the unmanaged switch.
I set the ip of the first cameras to 192.168.1.130, with subnet mask 255.255.255.0, and default gateway 192.168.1.1
the other was set to 192.168.1.131 with the rest the same as the previous. Similarly I set the ip address etc on my windows pc to 192.168.1.120, same subnet and gateway and no connection on either.
flashing the camera via usb to be dynamic or clearing the config did not change anything.
(Additionally I had to do A LOT of digging to find what to set the boot dispswitch to, to boot from usb, might be good to add this to the documentation page on the oak-poe)
Additionally i'm unable to ping the address ive set the camera to (timeout no response).
Can anyone give me an idea on what specifically need to be done to access the oak-1-poe over ethernet via an unmanaged switch?
