apirrone Hello ! Do you plan on making FFC boards (like the FFC-4P) with the RVC4 hardware ? If so, what is your timeline on that subject ? Thanks !
jakaskerl Hi @apirrone Something similar is in the plans. We are still figuring out the timeline so I can't say anything for certain. Thanks, Jaka
bob I see a few RVC4 products are now available for pre-order; any update on the release plans for RVC4 FFC products?
jakaskerl bob Probably not for some time, we currently have the S4 devkit version, which is essentially FFC on roids, but we are currently just focusing on polishing the compact devices first before we move to modular. Thanks, Jaka
bob Is this the S4 devkit you mentioned https://shop.luxonis.com/products/oak-4-som ? Are full spec sheets and development guide available after an NDA is signed? (for example: detailed information about ports not mentioned in the description but supported by the chip like PCIe, layout guides such as lane tuning length requirements, power quality/decoupling; information about supported image sensors and what features are supported or detailed information about how to tune them)
bob thank you; very cool product! Doesn't look like it is connected to the store website yet. Unfortunately the dimensions won't fit my immediate need but great to know it is available!
jjfink bob I totally agree here. The small size of the OAK FFC 4P makes it ideal for robotics projects where it needs to be integrated into the robot.
