I have an Oak 1W connected to a pi. I haven't checked the temp of the camera chip in SW yet, but while running, the housing is definitely hot to the touch. Doesn't burn me or anything, but feels like a mug of fresh coffee.
It's running very low FPS (between 1-5 fps depending on the use case), but I am running MobileNet on every frame + imagemanip + video compression, so definitely utilizing the device resources, albeit at a much reduced FPS. I put a current monitor on the usb line and the cam is only drawing 300-400 mA when running, so pretty far from the 1A+ that was suggested here:

Wondering if I'm doing something stupid or if there are steps I can take to mitigate this heat? Any suggestions on how to reduce load on the camera?
