I would not recommend heating the superglue, as you may can quickly damage the CCM parts.
When removing superglue acetone would do the job, it is also recommended as dissolver on Loctite web page.
After removing the glue and CCM, one should be careful attaching new one to the connectors, as they are not very robust and the FPC plug should be perfectly aligned with receptacle on the PCB.
Maybe using only hot glue would also be good for prototypes in case the camera would be changed several times as it is easier to apply and remove hot glue.
For permanent modification, yes it is the best to use the superglue as it better attaches the CCM to the PCB.
Of course recalibrating the device is mandatory for good depth result.
