Thanks for all the info. I'm less worried about skin thermal than retinal thermal I think. My plan is to use it as an eye tracker mounted some 0.4 meters in front of the face so the IR will be facing the eyes straight on.
Wm-2 seems to imply distance, but when I browsed the IEC I didn't see it.
Both 10Hz and 30Hz values above are well below the 100 Wm-2 limit, if that's how it's supposed to be compared.
What's the IR wavelength?
Are all OAK devices with IR using the same floodlight (similar output)?
