Depth and disparity information

Hi all,

This is my first experience with OAK-D CM4 PoE.
I am trying to visualize the depth and disparity information in a scene. In the documentation, I see results for passive and active stereo. Do you have some tutorials to check the active versus passive stereo ? I need to understand how to correctly use the stereo cameras to visualize some objects in the scene.

My case is similar to this. An empty scene and I want to detect if some objects appear.

The active stereo refers to a laser being used to increase texture on surfaces which helps with stereo matching. CM4 variants don't do active stereo since they don't have a dot projector.
If the surface you are pointing towards isn't blank and texture-less, this shouldn't matter anyway.
