DepthAI Viewer / taking photos

Hello,

I am trying to use the OAK D Lite for the first time and tried following all the documentaion steps, however cannot get it to work. I am completely new to programming/API stuff. I installed everything, also the pip extras, but now when I try to start DepthAI Viewer through Powershell it says "ERROR eframe::native::run] Exiting because of error: Wgpu(NoSuitableAdapterFound) on event Resumed Traceback (most recent call last):"

I am only trying to have the camera make still images and save them to my PC. How do I set this up?

Hi @Hanz
Can you give some additional information on the PC you are using? Namely the OS, architecture. Also depthai-viewer version (depthai-viewer --version).

I am using a "lenovo thinkcentre m83" desktop pc with windows 10 enterprise with the depthai viewer v.0.1.8.

Hi @Hanz
Could you try setting
$Env:WGPU_BACKEND = "dx12" in the same terminal as running depthai-viewer.
If that doesn't work, you can try with dx11 or gl as well.

Lmk how it goes.

Also is this issue present only in powershell or also in CMD?

Hello!
I am starting fresh today, since I got a bit confused yesterday and probably did a lot wrong. I unistalled everything and I now installed the latest version of depthAi (v. 3.5.0), where I can now also select depthai viewer and ran it as admin. When I do this I still get the same error message from yesterday. I also do not know if I did what you wanted me to do 🙂 (I have never worked with powershell or cmd before).

The program automatically chooses powershell for me. I do not know how to switch to cmd.

I hope I am not too inexperienced. Thank you for the help!

When I now start depthai viewer it boots up for a few seconds and after loading for a bit it crashes. I do get the extra window and it starts loading everything in, but then i stops and I get this:
