We wanted to provide you with an update on the current status of the OAK-D SR PoE, which you may have preordered. While we anticipate being able to deliver OAK-D-SR-PoE units throughout February, we feel it necessary to inform you that we are not entirely satisfied with the current range and precision of the ToF sensor. Consequently, we plan to make improvements during March.
Presently, the sensor operates solely in single-frequency mode, offering a limited range of 1.5m and an accuracy of ±10%. In our commitment to delivering the highest quality product, we have decided to delay the rollout until we achieve the full potential of the ToF sensor.
