Hello.
I have been struggling with my Pro PoE camera the last week, partly due to a broken PoE cable resulting in an unstable ethernet connection. Replacing the cable shows a stable 1Gb/s connection and I could connect to the cable without problems. However, some of the DepthAI examples revealed x-link timeout errors and I decided to factory reset the device.
Running the device_manager.py and trying to factory reset the device apparently resulted in a bricked device, very much like reported on luxonis/depthai-python768
DepthAI version: 2.23.0
Bootloader version before factory reset attempt: 0.26
Ubunty 20.04
PoE injector: TL-POE150S
dmesg/ethtool show stable ethernet connection at 1 Gb/s
Wireshark shows no activity from the device on the NIC, no ping response and no response on arp-scan
So what to do next? I've ordered a 8-pin male M8 connector and will be able to create a USB-bridge to the host computer. But will I be able to patch the Pro Poe bootloader from USB? Please advice.
Regards, Per
