From my depth testing of OAK-D and RS435 and 455 the, oaks were overall more accurate than realsense devices.
You could be experiencing a badly calibrated device (even after calibration some devices perform worse; we are working on improving the calibration model).
Wilbur Are there any methods to maintain an overall FPS of 60 while ensuring accurate conversion?"
I'm pretty sure the spatialLocationCalculator node is fast enough to run at 60FPS (mono cameras at 400p).
