Thanks Jaka, so if I push the computation to the host side, can I assume the USB connection will support the max 120fps throughput?
Lastly, for my use case, since I will need to combine depth data with possibly RBG-color based object tracking to do 3d movement of a fast moving object, would you recommend that I chose the OV9782 for the RGB module (which means the W and not the S2)? The W is the only model that has the OV9782 with 120fps global shutter. The S2 only has the IMX378 for the RGB which is 60fps rolling.
Or is the capable SDK's object tracking node capable of detecting objects + depth from OV9282 (120 fps, global) stereo itself without RGB?
the I noticed that on the S2, the RGB cameras have rolling shutter with max 60fps while the stereo cameras have global shutter with 120fps. With the W, both RGB and stereo cameras have global shutter t 120fps.
So if I need both depth and potentially color based tracking of a fast moving object, would you then recommend the W over S2 for this reason?
