what is the focal length of the autofocus camera?
The fixed focus version, is it the same? What is the min-max distance of in focus objects?
The focal length of the autofocus camera is a bit too high, we would prefer a less zoomed lens, are there any options without resorting to the wide version, which distorts images?

IMX214 image quality is poor compared to IMX378, unfortunately
The PY107 (582 wide) and/or PY060 (378 wide), do they distort enough to compromise NN detection/classification quality using standard models or not?

No, I think that shouldn't be a problem. In the worst case you can apply undistortion with warp node.
