Chatbots have traditionally been limited to responding to a pre-configured set of questions, often struggling to provide helpful responses in more complex scenarios. This leads many customers to give up and simply beg to speak to a real human that can actually solve their problem. OpenAI’s ChatGPT has helped to quickly and dramatically change our view of chatbots. Earlier this year, Luxonis created a chatbot that we’ve been testing internally and we are excited to now provide customers with direct access to our Luxonis chatbot.

Luxonis has assembled an incredible amount of documentation since we launched in 2019. These thousands of pages of technical details came incredibly handy for creating the chatbot that has already been used to answer thousands of questions. We've fed our extensive documentation into the chatbot, enabling it to use this wealth of information to generate informed responses. Put another way, pure magic!
The chatbot is most useful when answering technical questions, providing creative ideas, and giving advice. I’ll share a few examples below that come directly from customer questions this week:



One fantastic feature that you’ll notice is that the chatbot provides sources that allow you to see for yourself and dig into more details. Just like humans, we’ll warn you that the chatbot is not perfect and sometimes will say that it doesn’t know how to answer a question.
