auto-focus camera vibration

Hi all,

we have been using an OAK-1 auto-focus on a mobile robot.

The autofocus is turned off and set manually to focus a very near surface(~10cm).

When the robot is still everything works fine , but when it moves the vibration un-focuses the camera.

Is this due to the lenses moving with the vibration? is there a way to fix this?

I assume that software-wise nothing can be done, but maybe on the hardware i can fix the lenses in some way ?

Yes, very likely the vibrations cause the lens to move inside CCM, which results in blurry image.
2 options I see:

Glue the lens in-place, so it doesn't move. So essentially make Fixed-Focus CCM.
Try to damp vibrations, similar to what someone has done here: https://docs.luxonis.com/en/latest/pages/oak_on_drones/#camera-vibration
