Hi Dreadhawk177
Replacing the IR laser/sensor with something more around 450nm (blue) or green for underwater scanning is not straightforward. The hardware and software of the OAK cameras are designed and optimized for IR light. Changing the light source to a different wavelength would require significant modifications to both the hardware and software. Blue wavelengths have higher energy and will need separate power source.
If you change the light source to blue or green, you would need to ensure that the camera can perceive light at these wavelengths. Maybe even change the camera sensors to something that is more receptive to blue/violet/green wavelengths.
TLDR;
Very impractical.
Thanks,
Jaka
