Thank's Jaka.
I was trying not to use that, because I have a very tight space, and the Y-Adapter is pretty chunky.
FYI, my results are that on a hub, the Oak-D Pro will only draw around 500mA, as per the USB hub guidelines (per port). Even on a powered USB hub with another device connected, it will only draw 500mA. When connected via the Y-Adapter, it draws between 950-850mA, so using an Oak-D Pro through a hub is not a reliable solution.
FYI (again) The camera can run for a bit through the hub (depending on the manufacturer), but it is unreliable. And… some hubs are not robust enough to look after themselves. I now have a couple of hubs that are dead. The lesson… You might think that it is fine to run through a hub, but it will fail in a short time.
I hope this helps others.
