• RAE
  • Stuck in pending installation

Hello, so I tried using rae via RobotHub. It was working fine until I tried to install the "Counter App [BETA]" from RobotHub (Robots -> Install App -> Run -> Counter App [BETA]. Now it stuck as shown in the image and it has been like this for around 5 hours.

I'm looking forward to getting suggestion regarding this problem. Thank you

I am in the same boat …. warning do not install the Counter App [BETA] until resolved … lol.
Stuck in an endless pending install … with no options to abort … please help.
    FW: 1.13

Voine … I was able to progress … by deleting the "robot" and doing a hard reset by doing the blind poke the sharp conductive metal rod into the reset hole for 10 seconds and hope I did not let out the smoke. Then setting up from scratch with the wifi connection. Hope this helps.

Hi Mike, thanks for your reply and help. It seems deleting the robot is inevitable in this case.

Deleting the robot is a start but mine keeps coming up "Connected to RobotHub" even though RobotHub has no knowledge about it, and the reset button has no effect (what should it do?)

Pressing power twice does nothing - only a long hold on power cuts it off.

I installed this version of software 2023-10-02T10:00:02.354Z 888.4 MB luxonisos-rae-1.13.dm-verity.mender

brianlmerritt … Good to hear you are up and running … the soft reset will come in handy to know about.

I have found the same thing with the power button … one press turns it on … press and hold until it turns off … the double press seems not to do anything.

jakaskerl Good to know that only the "RAE - Default App" works and is intended for Rae. Ideally Luxonis will block incompatible apps for the Rae in the future.

Power off works - just needs the two presses to be "double click" speed. I've practiced now, and it does do a nice shut down with two quick jabs

The apps will likely just be patched to work on both rather than RVC3 only.

      Thanks,
