OAK-D Pro PoE only starts when USB also plugged in

Hello all!

I have a bunch of OAK-D Pro PoE units; normally they work fine and no problems. One unit, however, is in a very weird state and I'm not sure how to proceed. Basically, when plugged into via PoE connection, it will draw power but no network activity will occur. However, if I ALSO plug in the USB debugger (provided with the camera), the camera comes up just fine - on both USB AND PoE connections. It also works fine with just the USB debugger (i.e. no PoE).

Any suggestions on how to debug this? Or is it just a unit that needs RMAing?

It's also worth noting that as soon as the USB is unplugged, the PoE connection also drops. They seem to be tightly paired. I've tested on both 0.0.24 and 0.0.26 bootloaders.

Hi dizzyd ,
That is strange - seems like it doesn't receive power through POE, and when you connect it to USB, it powers up and both USB/ETH connections are possible. If you already tested POE switch/injector and it works as expected, then it might be a HW issue, and RMA would be needed.
