• Oak-D-S2 One of Mono-Camera's is out of Focus.

Hi, I recently received an Oak-D-S2. I've noticed two oddities or differences between the left and right mono cameras.

  1. The left camera is out of focus (as shown in the differences between the blue circles).
  2. the right camera has an artifact or reflection when interacting with lights that the left camera doesn't have (red circles).

This leads me to two questions:

  1. Since the Mono Cameras are fixed focus, is there anything I can do about this?
  2. Is there anything I can do about the lighting artifacts/differences between the two camera feeds.

I'm worried that these differences between cameras could cause poor Pose Estimation performances as we move forward in our project.

Cheers,
Kyle

@erik Sorry to '@' you directly, I wasn't sure if this was seen by the support team. Additionally I apologize but I forgot to add an '@hardware' tag to the thread.

@erik , The support team indicated they were going to forward my case to the warranty department, I hadn't heard back from them for about a week and so I reached back out to the support email, Its been an additional week and I still haven't heard anything back. Is there anyway you can help me with this, or do I need to continue trying to reach out to the support/warranty teams?

      Thanks, Sorry to bother!
      Kyle
