  • Can I use the RPi Camera Adapter to connect the OAK FFC-4P and Arducam IMX219?

I want to connect 4 cameras to a Jetson agx xavier to create a 360 degree surround view system.

I have 4 Arducam IMX219 Camera Modules with fisheye lens.

I heard that I can use the OAK FFC-4P product to connect the Jetson agx xavier with 4 MIPI CSI interface cameras.

However, I understand that OAK FFC-4P does not support IMX219. To solve this, your RPi Camera Adapter product allows me to connect the Arducam IMX219 Camera Module with fisheye lens product to the agx xavier <-> OAK FFC-4P <-> IMX219 x 4 configuration?

Thanks.

    Hi VisionAIGeek99,

It seems that the Raspberry Pi V2 Camera IMX219 module is supported by Luxonis in specific branch as described in the following link : https://docs.luxonis.com/projects/hardware/en/latest/pages/ffc-cameras/

And in order to interface the RPi camera modules to OAK FFC baseboard (OAK FFC 4P for example), you will need the adapter board.

But the OAK FFC 4P will connect to your Jetson Xavier AGX via USB interface. Only the OAK FFC camera modules (mainly sourced by Arducam) could connect to the Jetson Xavier AGX via MIPI-CSI2 interface (with certain adaptation board or cable).
