X_LINK_ERROR after running for a while

Hello, camera running great for 30-60 seconds and then after random time it crashes with error :

oak-d luxonis std::runtime_error what(): communication exception - possible device /error/misconfiguration. original message couldn't read data from stream: 'detections' (link_error)

We're running only AI detections with ROS configuration (we send camera info with detected ROI through ROS)

It was running on ubuntu 20.04 (raspberry pi 4), screen from ssh, after roslaunch.

What depthai device are you using? Might have something to do with power draw that would cause the device to reboot.

Oak-D Pro, Im not sure if it's problem with power. I tested maximum current draw and it's 0,8A, so powering from RPI (max 1.2A per 4 ports) should be enough. Im also using usb2.0 (camera is on drone and usb3.0 cousing too much trouble for GPS)

Hm, is it always "detections stream" or does it change?

As for now we are only using detections stream.

Since it's only 30-60s id suggest enabling the trace logs (docs) so you can maybe see where the problem occurs.

We changed our cable and power supply, everything works as intended.

If in future someone will have similar problem, please make sure to check power supply and camera cable 🙂
