I'm not entirely sure where you got the idea that depthai only works on ARM (or maybe I'm not understanding the question correctly). Here is a list of all supported platforms, most of which are x86. Each platform requires its own dependencies during installation, but the software as well as all devices should work regardless of which architecture you are using.
