  • Switch RGB focus from auto to fixed or from fixed to auto

Hi,

I have a question. Can we swith its fucus from auto to fixed or fixed to auto unsing your API??

I checked beow it can switch auto to fixed. But i would like to check whether it becomes same performance like your Fixed model (SKU: A00565 ) ?? what do you recommand buying OAK-D-Pro Fixed model or OAK-D-Pro Auto Focus model and then swithing to Fixed model using below if it is possible. Please give us any advice about it.

    From https://docs.luxonis.com/projects/hardware/en/latest/pages/guides/af_ff.html :

    Auto-Focus uses an electromagnet to move a magnet that is mounted to a free-moving lens. 
In high-vibrations this electromagnetic force is overpowered and the lens vibrates all over the place, 
causing blurry/weird/”jello” images/video.

    So even if you set the focus to some value, it will move around in heavy vibrations - FF is glued in place, so it won't. Thoughts?

          erik is there a way to fix it manually ay home maybe? maybe gluing?

            That would be possible, and some have already done that, but you need to be careful not to get glue on sensor/on the lens.
