Hi there,

i want to calibrate my camera in the beginning before starting the pipeline. I therefore send the configuration for autofocus mode and let the camera 5 sec time to adjust. Ideally it would focus in far field, towards f=inf, since my obstacles are placed in far field. Somehow after restarting the script fails to recalibrate the cam or at least the detection of the obstacles does not work because the image frame seems blurred.

What would be an easy / standard approach to initalize the camera settings - any tipps regarding a little time to adjust, setting autobrigthness in the beginning etc?

Greetings G.

    Hi gmaranta ,
So 3A (auto focus, auto exposure, auto white-balance) need a bit of time to converge to their optimal values - about 2 seconds. So there really is no good way to "make this faster", but perhaps you could save the focus value once, and re-apply the same value (via set manual focus function) in the pipeline, before starting it?
    Thanks, Erik
