Hi,
We are using the OAK1 POE cameras in a facility, together with industrial computers (Nvidia Jetson-based).
Each computer has 2 POE ports which can be used to power up the cameras, and the setup works pretty well in general. (The POE ports are rated 802.3at, meaning that they should provide up to 30 W each if required, hence meeting the camera power requirements.)
We have two variants of the setup, one with a single camera connected to the computer, and the other with two cameras per computer. The single camera setup have been running continuously without issue so far.
The twin camera setup however seems less robust. After about a month of running, one of the cameras stop getting detected by the computer (shows 'state down' while running ip a). This has happened twice so far, with different computers and cameras.
We tried connecting the faulty camera to the other POE port, and a network switch via a separate POE injector, but it was not being detected (no lights blinking).
However when we later connected the camera (after about 1 day) to a POE switch, it starts working again. It seems that the camera requires some time to reach a normal state after which it is usable again.
Have anyone observed a similar issue when working with multiple POE devices? Please advise.
Best regards,
Aneesh
